As promised, here’s a little something for you to enjoy from the Jane Austen Festival in Bath. It was the day of the Grand Regency Parade yesterday which saw hundreds of Jane Austen fans dress up in period costume and take to the streets of Bath in honour of the author. They were led by the 32nd Cornwall Regiment and the Worcestershire Yeomanry Cavalry who all looked very becoming in their regimentals 😉
You might recognise the music; it’s from the 2005 film version of Pride and Prejudice and is called Meryton Townhall by Jean-Yves Thibaudet.
Plenty of photos to show you in my next posts too! I hope you enjoy.
